  • Broad experience in all areas of state government, having represented clients before the Florida Legislature, the Governor and Cabinet, the Florida Department of Business Regulation, Florida Department of Transportation, Office of Insurance Regulation, and the Florida Department of Management Services, as well as extensive appearances before all District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court


  • Appointed by the Insurance Commissioner to become General Counsel to the Florida Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Association from 1989 to 1995; and 2001 to 2010. His primary responsibility was for implementing the Association on behalf of the state
  • Joined the Governor’s staff in Tallahassee as assistant legal counsel to the Governor, and was later appointed assistant executive director and general counsel to the State Department of Business Regulation
  • Selected by the Governor to organize a quasi-governmental corporation, which privatized the state’s correctional work programs
  • AV preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory
  • Selected for Florida Super Lawyers – 2010/2011
